Trivia
Initial Broadcast & Reception
- This episode premiered domestically on Cartoon Network on May 20, 2026 at 4pm, following a re-run of "Firework Run", and preceding a re-run of "Corpse Flower".
- This episode received approximately 106,000 views domestically in the United States.[2]
Worldbuilding
- Benson was fired from Hair to the Throne as he was seen as too efficient.
- Muscle Man had an scholarship for Beach Volleyball.
Continuity
- The bookend scenes of this episode take place during Season Four, between "150 Piece Kit" and "World's Best Boss", as the Park employees are aware of Benson's involvement with Hair to the Throne, and he has not yet reached his ten-year anniversary at the park. It would also take place after "Gut Model"as it is revealed Muscle Man, who celebrated his 5th anniversary in that episode, was working the park before Benson.
- Benson expands upon his past as a member of Hair to the Throne, as was revealed in "150 Piece Kit".
- This episode leads directly in the following episode, "Good Mitch Spiking".
Pop Culture References
- Talks being a slime monster could possibly be a reference to The Ooze (1995) video game for SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis.
Goofs
Animation
- Benson's nose is colored the same as his gumballs for one shot.
Discontinuity
- This episode contradicts "Struck by Lightning", where Benson was shown to already be the park manager by the time Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost joined the park.
- When Mordecai and Rigby first move into the House in "First Day", their rooms are shown to be completely empty. However, this episode showcases a fully-decorated room long before their employment at the park.
- Benson's six-year anniversary taking place between "150 Piece Kit" and "World's Best Boss" is problematic. "World's Best Boss" establishes that Benson has been working at the Park for ten years, but due to the inclusion of Thomas in both episodes, only two years could take place between those episodes.[3]
